Scope of work on the vessel included the removal of damages caused by the fire of one of the generating sets. Following systems were affected by the fire: control switchboards and cables of the generating set engine, generator cables of the neighboring generating set, cable trays in the vicinity of the generating set along with cables for such systems as the boiler, steering gear, winches, alarm system, fire detection system, lighting and many smaller systems. The repair consisted in replacing of the wiring of the generator set engine, connection of sensors and electrical equipment, replacing the control switchboards with new cabinets and configuring the controllers. Oil and cooling water pumps control switchboards along with cabling have been replaced. The cabling of the boiler's electrical system was completely rebuild, along with the replacement of some electrical devices in the control cabinet. The generator cables of the neighboring generating set have been replaced by the new cables. The cables of the other systems were replaced only in the fire area, new cables were connected with new ones by means of junction cabinets. All systems were started and tested.
