Monitoring and controlling ballast pumps, valves, and tanks to maintain proper draft and tank levels. Managing ballast operations during critical activities such as heavy lifts, equipment transfers, and the loading or offloading of cargo and bulk materials. Operating and monitoring the main ballast control panel, including tank level instrumentation, fire and gas alarm systems, bilge pumping systems, and other related marine and safety systems. Coordinating with engineering teams and the Officer in Charge/Supervisor to ensure proper planning of operations and compliance with safety procedures.
