This allows us to perform an extremely accurate energy balance study showing active and reactive power flow through the electric grid. In addition, the simulation automatically indicates the values of voltage drops on all elements of the energy system. This immediately gives us information on whether power cable cross-sections are correct. Such analysis can be performed for both AC and DC systems.
